The Australian Men's Masters Over 40's team to contest the Masters Hockey World Cup in Nottingham, England in August 2022 was selected at the conclusion of the Return to Hockey event held in Sydney, NSW in February 2022.
Captained by Antony Traill, coached by Gary Porteous and managed by Ian Edwards, the team combines a mix of experienced and new players.
Edit: In July 2022, Ian Edwards reluctantly withdrew as manager and was replaced for the tour by Mark Matheson.
The Australian 35's and 40's Hockey teams have played an important role in Masters Hockey history both in Australia and on the world stage.
It is intended that this section will be completed retrospectively with details of each campaign, ensuring some form of legacy for these teams and the athletes that were part of them.
