Prior to 2011, Manchester Street was the goto place for food and drink. Since the earthquake, many of these fine establishments have relocated and are now spread around the city.

Dux Central

Replacing the iconic Dux de Lux

Dux Central is a versatile venue, consisting of the Brew Bar stocking over 220 craft beers. Along with the huge selection of international and craft beers, the food menu is so vast you are sure to find something you'll love.

Pomeroys pub, family owned and operated since 2001. Specialising in craft beer, food made from scratch and excellent service.

Sullivan's Irish Pub

Home of the World's Largest Glass of Beer

Sullivans was situated in Manchester Street, Christchurch from 1997 until September 2010 when the earthquake forced them to relocate. Now located in Addington, they offer the same great service and environment with a variety of live music, good selection of international wines and beers and traditional pub food.
