Mark Matheson has represented New South Wales since 2008. For the first eight years as a player in the 40 and 45 age groups and more recently as a manager for 55 and 40's teams.
In 2023, Mark managed the NSW 40/1's at the Hockey Australia Masters Championships in Perth, WA.
Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Mark has lived in Sydney for the past 20+ years, having moved across the Tasman for work. Firmly established in Sydney, Mark can often be seen wearing his All Blacks jersey, but will put aside his heritage and stand with the Australian team.
